I Care for my Dog
Before going to work, I spent 20 minutes of my time to walk with Terry, a male terrier. The rope keeps Terry with me as he leaps and bounces and playfully speeds up to join other walkers or joggers. After the walk, I place Terry back to his pen, his rope tied back to the post near his pen. I know Terry wanted more… he wants to be free and play around the yard.

The Invisible Underground Dog Fence
One day, I happened to see an ad about an invisible fence. I was fascinated and inquired through the given phone number. Indeed, it was very affordable about half of my estimated cost to build a wooden fence within the boundary lines of my property. The exciting part is I can do the installation myself. I just need a shovel, a wire cutter, staple and staple wire. All other equipments depend on the surface where I have to dig about 6 inches below the ground.
How the Underground Fence for Dogs Work
The concept is to enclose the perimeter of the house with an underground wire connected to a transmitter. The transmitter is mounted in a dry place. The transmitter when connected to a power outlet will emit radio signals that connect toward a specially designed dog collar. The collar picks up the signal and release a warning tone to warn the dog not go near the boundary line. If the dog insists and go near the underground fence for dogs, electric signals is released enough to send the dog away from the restricted lines. It’s easy to install, safe and very affordable.
I still walked Terry in the morning with the 3 meters rope joined in his collar, but he is no longer back to his pen and tied to the post when we reached the house. Terry is freed of the rope and can wander around the backyard. He can now play around the house without me worrying that Terry might get loose and run around the vicinity.
