A Fair Look at Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo
The majority of experts are going to tell you that as long as the shampoo you find works for your hair, it will not matter how much it costs. This is most certainly true and it is why there are so many, especially those on tiny budgets, who tend to always buy the cheapest shampoos they can find. This is one of the reasons that the shampoos and conditioners created by Suave are so popular.
You might have heard by now that clarifying shampoos are great for the hair, especially if you have a lot of oily buildup or use a lot of product. Most of the time a clarifying shampoo only needs to be used when your hair actually starts to look dull or if you have lots of residue buildup. In such a case, however, “daily” is right in the name of Suave’s Daily Clarifying Shampoo. So is the shampoo truly all that effective? Is it seriously a good idea to use it regularly, like the product name suggests?
First the positives: Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo is truly quite good at keeping your hair gunk free. What it does is rip all of the buildup off of your hair, leaving behind just the natural strand. This can definitely be a good thing and if you use a whole lot of gel, hairspray or other stuff, this is a good and inexpensive way to ensure you get all of it out.
The other really nice thing about this particular shampoo is how much it will cost you. Most of the time you can purchase Suave shampoo, no matter which kind, for about a dollar or so. You truly can’t beat that selling price, especially if your budget is tight or if you are having to spend more of your money on the other hair products you use.
The primary trouble we have with this shampoo is that it really dries out the hair. This is a stripping shampoo, without a doubt. Though getting down to the natural hair strands is a great thing, the dryness can actually be tough to take. It’s really a terrible idea to try to use this shampoo by itself. You’re going to want to use a conditioner also to help protect your hair against dryness and brittleness.
This product has synthetic colors and smells. For sure they’re slight but there is no doubt that they are there. If you are particularly sensitive to these kinds of additives, you won’t be able to use the product because it will irritate you.
Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo lacks the longevity that other clarifying shampoos can provide to you. It will most likely last long enough to help you get through a workday but unless you would like to wash your hair two times a day, it will more than likely be very oily by the time you get to your next scheduled washing. Your hair might even be oilier than it normally is because the shampoo will really dry out your scalp which, in turn, increases oil production.
Whatever type of hair you may have, this shampoo may be the greatest thing you will have ever used…or you could deal with quite a few more issues. Ask your hair stylist whether or not you really should use it.
